Unlike traditional watches that show hours and minutes, Momentum judges the passing of time on how the user spends their day. It speeds up or slows down based on actions, rewarding positive activities and signaling to the user when time might be wasted.
This device is designed to make people more aware of how they use their time. When we’re engaged in productive or positive activities, Momentum keeps pace normally or even slows down, suggesting we’re on the right track. If we’re less productive, the change in speed serves as a visual reminder to reassess how we’re spending our time.
Momentum’s goal is to help improve our daily habits. By giving you immediate visual feedback on your activities, it encourages you to focus on what matters and avoid wasting time. It’s a tool to help people value and better manage their day, inspiring more mindful and purposeful daily behaviors.
Momentum was designed in collaboration with Miguel Peña.
